Northwest Indiana’s own Jeff Abbott, better known to many music fans as Keytar Jeff, was recently featured in NWI Times for his newest chapter with the classic rock band The Aftermath.
In the feature, NWI Times highlighted The Aftermath’s upcoming performances and gave special recognition to Abbott, calling him “phenomenal” and describing him as “an accomplished keyboardist/pianist from Northwest Indiana who toured the world and performed with some mighty big names in the rock world over the years.”
For fans who have followed Jeff’s career, the recognition is well deserved. Known for his commanding stage presence, deep musical knowledge, and high-energy keyboard work, Keytar Jeff brings more than just musicianship to the stage. He brings decades of experience, a world-class performance background, and the kind of showmanship that turns a live set into a full experience.
The Aftermath, a classic rock band delivering hits from the 1970s through the 1990s, recently added Abbott to its lineup. His addition gives the band a powerful new dimension, blending strong piano and keyboard textures with the timeless sound of classic rock favorites.
Now back in the Region, Keytar Jeff is once again making waves in the Northwest Indiana music scene. Whether he is behind the keys, stepping out with the keytar, or adding his signature energy to a live performance, Jeff continues to prove why he is a musician worth seeing and hearing.
NWI Times noted that fans can catch The Aftermath live on Friday at Hoosier Lanes, located at 50 W. Westgate Drive in Wheatfield, and again on Saturday at Leroy’s “Hot Stuff” in Porter.
